Staff at Forrestdale Veterinary Hospital
We have a core group of staff members who live up to our motto of Care, Compassion and Excellence in everything they do.
Dr Sonia Benwath – Veterinarian
Sonia graduated from Murdoch University. She worked at a practice in the South West for a few years before moving to the UK to work. Sonia returned from the UK in 2020 to join the Forrestdale vet team. Sonia has a special interest in Surgery. Sonia has a rescue chihuahua called Ziggy and a naughty cat called Zara.
Dr Meg Green
After graduating from Murdoch University in 2010, Meg worked in mixed practice in country Western Australia for one year before joining the team at City Beach Vets where she works most of the time. She works at Forrestdale Vet Hospital one day a week. Meg has developed a strong passion for small animal medicine and surgery, and in 2018 she completed a Masters of Veterinary Studies (Small Animal Practice).
Meg’s pets include a cheeky Jack Russell Terrier named Emma, a crazy cat named LC (“Little Creature”), and a very happy Golden Retriever call Isbjorn (Issy for short) and a fast (occasionally) thoroughbred horse named Barney.
